We use the web hosting provider hosting.de GmbH, Franzstr. 51, 52064 Aachen in Germany. Our provider processes the personal data entered by the user (name, address, …), their contact details (telephone numbers, email addresses, …), contract data, information about your use of our offers (access times, viewed content, …), content (audio files, documents , …), as well as the technical communication data stored in the server log. The processing is based on our legitimate interest in making our offer available with the appropriate quality and securely.

Server log

Which data is processed by Google?

We may send you emails for marketing purposes. By registering in the app, you agree to receive the newsletter and the procedures described. The following data is required to be entered:

  • your email address,
  • the preferred language of the newsletter

In addition, the following information is also automatically saved:

  • date and time of your registration,

The newsletter is sent using the mail service provider “MailChimp”, a newsletter mailing platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. The data determined in the registration process will be passed on to “MailChimp”. MailChimp can use the recipient’s data in pseudonymised form (i.e. without being able to assign it to a specific user) to improve and optimize its own services or for statistical processing. MailChimp will never pass the data on to third parties or use it to contact you.

Measuring success at MailChimp

Based on the data mentioned above, statements can be made about target groups and their reading behavior, about retrieval locations or access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. The evaluations help us to recognize the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.
